"Kadeja Lefebvre is a naturopathic doctor with 25 years of experience and a passion for unraveling complex chronic illness. She works with conditions such as mold exposure, Lyme disease, MCAS, pain, and nervous system dysregulation. Her whole-person approach considers digestion, hormones, circulation, immune function, environmental stressors, nutrition, lifestyle, and the brain’s responses to physical and emotional triggers. She may also recommend on top of traditional naturopathic recommendations, Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM), pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF), or Low Dose Immunotherapy (LDI) to support the body’s healing processes. Why I chose naturopathic medicine

Since childhood, I have loved detective work and figuring out “whodunit.” I am equally fascinated by science and guided by my family’s mantra: “There are no problems, only solutions.” Naturopathic medicine appealed to me because it explores not only how the body works, but also how its systems interact with one another and the environment. My curiosity keeps me learning, so my practice continues to evolve—as it should.

My approach to patient care

My approach begins with listening carefully, building a detailed health timeline, and reviewing past tests and records. I also perform a thorough naturopathic physical assessment, as the body can reveal important clues. I then explain my findings clearly, and together we create a practical, personalized plan that works for you.

What I wish people knew

I wish more people knew that naturopathic doctors receive extensive training in many of the foundational medical sciences studied in conventional family medicine, along with specialized training in naturopathic therapies. Naturopathic medicine is not a replacement for family doctors or conventional care; it is complementary, offering a different perspective on symptoms and seeking to understand the underlying reasons a person is unwell.
