Why I chose naturopathic medicine

I believe that there’s rarely just one piece to the story. I chose naturopathic medicine because I wanted to understand the connections between the nervous system, digestion, hormones, nutrition and overall wellbeing. My goal is to help people understand their bodies as a whole and find their way towards greater balance. For me, it’s about combining that whole-person perspective with good clinical assessment and helping clients feel more informed and involved in their own health.

My approach to patient care

My approach begins with listening. I take the time to understand each client’s story and explore the connection between their symptoms, their different body functions and their lifestyle, rather than viewing symptoms in isolation. Together, we will work on establishing practical, individualized strategies that will support your overall foundational health while helping you better understand your body. My wish is also for my client to feel confident in their care.

What I wish people knew

I wish people knew how much we can accomplish in one visit. A naturopathic appointment is typically about one hour, giving us time to listen, understand and explore many factors that influence one’s health. This comprehensive approach allows us to create a personalized, wholistic care plan based on each client’s unique needs and goals.
