QANM is Quebec’s provincial association of naturopaths — rigorously trained, board-examined, and united in advancing the recognition of naturopathic medicine in Quebec.
We are the provincial chapter of the Canadian Association of Naturopaths (CAND) and an affiliate of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).

QANM advances naturopathic medicine in Quebec by representing and supporting qualified naturopathss, promoting high standards of evidence-informed and person-centred care, and advocating for regulation that protects the public and expands access to trusted professionals. We lead with integrity and collaboration, responding to the growing interest in naturopathic medicine and the evolving healthcare needs of Quebecers.
Founded in 1994, the Quebec Association of Naturopathic Medicine, brings together naturopaths, trained and examined, through the North American Board of Naturopathic Education standards. The QANM exclusively represents naturopaths, who have graduated from CNME accredited naturopathic medical schools and passed the NPLEX or CONO licensing exams.
In the absence of a professional regulatory order, the QANM supports its members while establishing guidelines to ensure they adhere to rigorous standards. We have submitted an application to the Office des professions du Québec (OPQ) to seek professional regulation and continue to actively pursue this objective to ensure that the care provided is both effective and safe for the public.
